Just a little back story of how Rubi and Monique met and how Blissful Touch Studio was born! Rubi and Monique met at a spa conference and an immediate friendship bloomed. From there, Monique was ready to expand her business and Rubi was ready to start hers. One day a glorious idea came to us, we decided to team up and create Blissful Touch Studio! With the help of our Office Manager, Jazmin, we have worked incredibly hard to get this business startup and we couldn’t be more excited to work alongside each other, and you!
So happy you’re here! My name is Monique & I’m a Licensed Esthetician for over 5 years. I was born and raised in a small town in Iowa. My passion for the beauty industry began as a child. My mother used to sell Mary Kay & I would take all the samples & bring them to school & do my friends make up out at recess. I went right into beauty school after graduating high school & became a cosmetologist in 2015. For years, I navigated thru the industry to find what felt true & right for me!
I decided to sign up for esthetics school in 2018 & a whole new world was opened for me. I had been neglecting myself for years & never gave myself the love that I gave away so freely to others. Then I saw the same thing with those around me! That’s when I knew I needed to create a space where you can focus on healing from the inside & out! & I did just that! Blissful Touch Studio welcomes you to not only glow, but grow too!
